Southern paddler Louise Royle, ventured out to Nepal to SUP the Sun Kosi in October 2018, demonstrating just how to have a super adventure out on the water. The river is about 3 hours drive east of Kathmandu. It flows east in the valley between the Mahbharat Kekh mountains and the Himalayas. It starts at about 100 cumecs, increasing to 400 in the Jungle corridor and finishing at 800, where it enters the plains above Chatra and becomes the Septa Kosi.
