The Southern Region is a fabulous place to paddle whether it is in the salt in the Solent, touring on the Thames or playing Polo on the pitch. We are the home to a range of world class Paddling venues such as the London 2012 Canoe Sprint Venue at Dorney Lake or the spiritual home of Freestyle at Hurley.
We encompass the counties (and those on the borderlines) of:
- Isle of Wight
Within the region there is a large number of strong clubs and centres with pretty much all of the forms of Paddlesport covered.
The SRDT is a committee of volunteers set up by British Canoeing to support all paddling opportunities and all paddling disciplines in the Southern Region. Find out more about what we do, who we support and who to get involved by checking out our team page.
