The Soar Boat Club at Normanton on Soar will host the third section of this years Soar Tour. Following the PaddlePlus and Song of the Paddle weekends on the upstream section the Boat club will open its field to paddlers looking for somewhere to stop over night on the 13th-15th September. Camping will be £5 per standard tent and parking for the day will be £2. Distance and shuttles are up to individual groups but from Normanton Trent Lock and Mountsorrel are easily reachable in the day. The onsite bar will be open in the evenings.

The event is promoted by the East Midlands Regional Development Team, Hosted by The Soar Boat Club and is open to clubs and groups who are required to supervise their own groups over the event.
