Club Partnerships

Grants are available in order to help establish up to 5 part funded club coaching roles, the cost of this post will be jointly covered by the England Talent Programme and the club itself.

We truly want to ensure that the support we are able to offer to clubs is appropriate to the environment that they operate in. Clubs will be able to submit a proposal as to how they would invest this grant money along with a plan to show how the investment will create a clear legacy for the club and its members.

Although each Club Partnership will be tailored to the club there will be a number of key outcomes across all projects.

Key measures/outcomes

  • The club will need to show a growth in junior members and the number of junior paddlers training daily. (Number of under 16 athletes that are training an average of 5 times a week)
  • Professional coaches underpinned by a robust business model complementing and supporting the volunteer base within the club. (Number of self-employed coaches that are contracted by the club to run club activities).
  • The club provides an environment where fun, long term learning and holistic development is occurring daily.
