Hope Gordon shortlisted for Scottish Women in Sport award

2023 World Champion Hope Gordon is up for Scottish Women in Sport's Para Athlete of the Year award after another impressive year in the sport.

Hope won her first World title this summer in the Women's VL3, a new event making its Paralympic debut at Paris2024 next year.

The result also meant she qualified Britain's boat quota place for the Games next year.

Hope also won a further two medals in the discipline, with silver at both the World Cup in Szeged and World Cup on the Paris course.

The 29-year-old has been shortlisted alongside Samantha Kinghorn (Wheelchair racer) and Joanna Butterfield (Wheelchair curling).
