• BCAB announces the NEW SUP Safer Course: British Canoeing Awarding Body has today announced the NEW SUP Safer course which is designed for anyone new or relatively novice to Stand Up Paddleboarding, wanting to gain knowledge and raise their awareness of their personal safety. The 4-hour programme is delivered within a sheltered water environment which participants will explore in a fun, educational and engaging way.
• Become a Provider of the NEW Paddle Safer course: BCAB Instructors, Coaches, Leaders and Guides are NOW able to deliver the NEW Paddle Safer course, by completing the new Provider eLearning package. The eLearning provides 5 CPD points and only costs £10. There is no provider administration fee for courses run and no certification fee.

• Paddlesport Coaching and Leadership Conference: Bookings Open

• Keeping your qualifications current and up to date: BCAB Instructor, Coach and Leader qualifications are well respected throughout the world, due to the robust training and assessments that take place through a regulated framework of verification and standardisation. Once a qualification is gained, it is important to remain up to date with Membership, First Aid, Safeguarding and CPD. This operational requirement ensures that your qualification remains current.

Deliver the NEW Paddle Safer!

The Paddle Safer course is for anyone new or relatively new to paddling who would like to gain knowledge and raise their awareness of paddling safely in a sheltered or very sheltered water environment. 

Any British Canoeing Awarding Body Instructor, Coach, Leader or Guide can deliver this practical 2-hour course once you complete the Provider eLearning. The eLearning provides 5 CPD points upon completion. 

Interested in delivering the Personal Performance Awards?

Instructors, Coaches, Leaders, Raft Guides and Bell Boat Helms can deliver some of the Personal Performance Awards. All aspirant Providers will need to complete the Provider eLearning. The eLearning provides 10 CPD points and access to a range of logos to use for your marketing and promotion. Click here to start your eLearning today
