Talent Club Partnership Coach Development Programme

British Canoeing is delighted to announce the new Talent Club Partnership Coach Development Programme.

This bespoke programme gives coaches the opportunity to join a supportive development programme, focused on youth athlete development.

Aligned to the British Canoeing What It Takes to Progress (WITTP) and What It Takes to Win (WITTW) athlete development frameworks, together we will explore appropriate coaching practices across 3 pillars, coach athlete relationships, technical excellence and performance planning.

October see's the launch of the Talent Club Partnership Coach Development Programme. This 18 month programme will bring together coaches from each of the TCP's in Slalom, Sprint and Para. The course is a mix of online group session modules and practical's out on the water, with coaches working together to check, challenge and develop their coaching practice. I'm really excited to be part of this programme to help support and develop coaches across the TCP.

– Pete Catterall, British Canoeing Talent Coach Developer
