Open & British National Masters, Senior, Under 23 and Junior Championships Regatta

Over 370 athletes from 52 clubs will be on the water at Nottingham this weekend for the Open & British National Masters, Senior, Under 23 and Junior Championships Regatta.

Over 100 national titles will be awarded across the flatwater disciplines of sprint and paracanoe for seniors, under 23s, juniors and masters.

As well as seeking national titles, athletes will also be hoping to impress the selectors to secure places for the World Championships events taking place in Copenhagen and Montemor-O-Velho in September.

In order to host the event British Canoeing, in line with DCMS guidance, Holme Pierrepont County Park and the local authority Safety Advisory Group, have placed significant restrictions in place, to mitigate the risks for those in attendance and for the local community.

Athletes, coaches and officials travelling to the event will be required to minimise interaction with the local community and should follow the government’s current Covid-19 guidelines at all times.

You can follow all of the action either via a stream on the Sprint Racing Committee’s You Tube channel at:
