NEW Risk Management and Risk Assessment eLearning:British Canoeing is pleased to introduce the NEW Risk Management and Risk Assessment eLearning. This is a great resource for instructors, coaches, leaders, providers, deployers and activity providers, looking to further develop an understanding of the responsibilities of managing risk, as well as identifying risk and writing risk assessments.
Environmental definitions and deployment guidance: This document provides guidance and environmental definitions that can be applied when choosing paddlesport activity. There have been several updates to the document to provide clarity. There have been no changes to any areas of operation for BCAB/BC qualifications and awards.

UK Coaching Sudden Cardiac Arrest Digital Toolkit: A new toolkit, funded by Sport England, has been developed in collaboration with the Resuscitation Council, St John Ambulance, Joe Humphries Memorial Trust and UK Coaching. The free eLearning course aims to help anyone to know what to do in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest, potentially saving thousands of lives every year. This can be used as a reminder for already qualified first aiders, as well as anyone involved in any paddlesport activity.
