Four British representatives announced in ICF Board and Committee updates

Congratulations to Brian Chapman, Julie Gray, Jane Gibson and Peter Schofield, who have all been appointed to their respective International Canoe Federation committees.

Icf Committee

Following the ICF congress in Rome over the weekend, four British representatives were appointed as the ICF announced the updated list of board members and standing committee members.

Brian Chapman has been appointed as a member of the Canoe Marathon Committee and Julie Gray will be part of the ICF Paracanoe Committee.

Peter Schofield will now sit as a member of the Wildwater Canoeing Committee, whilst Jane Gibson is currently one of three members on the ICF Medical and Anti Doping Committee, with more set to be appointed.

This is in addition to the announcement earlier this week in which British Canoeing board member Greg Smale retained his role as chair of the Canoe Polo Committee and Terry Best taking over as Head of the Canoe Freestyle Committee.

Last month it was also announced that canoe slalom athlete Eilidh Gibson's will sit on the Athletes Committee.
