  • Technical Advice Guidance for Paddlesport: British Canoeing is pleased to share the Technical Advice Guidance for paddlesport. The five points offer guidance to anyone considering offering paddlesport technical advice or to a business/organisation employing (paid or unpaid) someone for their paddlesport technical advice. 
  • Deliver the Personal Performance Awards: The awards develop personal paddling and decision making skills in the craft and environment of your choice. Every Instructor, Coach, Leader and Guide can deliver some of the Personal Performance Awards. Start your eLearning today, which also gives you 10 CPD points and access to a range of resources! Or, if your looking to develop your skills, why don't you book an award today!
  • Free Wildlife Guides:Field Studies Council (FSC) are giving away thousands of wildlife posters in an aim to connect people with nature. The FSC are looking for people aged 16-25 and those working with this age group to register by 10th June 2021 to receive their two free guides.  The guide is a colourful and water-resistant fold out chart filled with drawings or photos created by enthusiasts and experts and includes a special marine selection about rocky shores and whales and seals.
  • Sports Parents Advice: We are pleased to share the latest resources from Sport Parents EU, an international project aiming to support parents to support children involved in sport. These resources are also useful for instructors, coaches and providers. Sports Parents EU have shared advice for parents at competitions and helping children manage anxiety. There is also lots more bite-size tips on their resource page. 
  • UK Coaching Sudden Cardiac Arrest Digital Toolkit: A new toolkit, funded by Sport England, has been developed in collaboration with the Resuscitation Council, St John Ambulance, Joe Humphries Memorial Trust and UK Coaching. The free eLearning course aims to help anyone to know what to do in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest, potentially saving thousands of lives every year. This can be used as a reminder for already qualified first aiders, as well as anyone involved in any paddlesport activity.

Instructors, Coaches, Leaders, Raft Guides and Bell Boat Helms can deliver some of the Personal Performance Awards. All aspirant Providers will need to complete the Provider eLearning. The eLearning provides 10 CPD points and access to a range of logos to use for your marketing and promotion. Click here to start your eLearning today!
