Changes to Safeguarding Training Requirements: British Canoeing and the National Associations are committed to helping everyone in paddlesport accept their responsibility to safeguard children and adults at risk from harm and abuse and ensure appropriate training and education for coaches, leaders and deployers. As part of our ongoing review process we will be introducing changes to our safeguarding requirements for both coaches and leaders.
British Canoeing Online Community of Practice: Join us for weekly conversations connecting coaches from across the British Canoeing paddlesports community on Thursdays between 2pm and 3pm. Topics so far include 'Coaching through Covid', the 'Coach Athlete Relationship' and 'Understanding Athlete Motivation'.
