KayakPro will join British Canoeing’s trade partnership, which was formed in August 2017.
The trade partners work together on the following objectives:
• Sharing a vision for growth
• Engaging paddlers and members and building stronger communities of paddlers, coaches and partners
• Promoting products, opportunities and campaigns that inspire and increase participation within the sport
• Increasing profile and reputation of the sport
• Sharing insight and learning
David Joy, chief executive of British Canoeing said:
“We are delighted to be partnering with KayakPro, we’ve had strong working relationships with the company for many years and we look forward to strengthening the partnership. They have a world class approach to producing high quality innovative equipment and we’re excited to be developing new opportunities with them.
“All trade partners share a similar ambition to see the sport and the market grow, with more paddlers paddling more often. Our strategy – Stronger Together – sets out how we believe this can be achieved, by everyone playing their part to attract, engage and retain participants.”
Grayson Bourne, owner of KayakPro, said:
We can offer British Canoeing development of unique products that we envisage will be of great interest to and excite British Canoeing's members and affiliates. We see our partnership as a two-way synergy.– Grayson Bourne, owner of KayakPro
“Stronger Together is so necessary as there are so many people who paddle that aren’t necessarily involved in a bigger organisation - British Canoeing could be the glue that brings all of these elements together."
