Do You Dare Take On A Spooky Canoe Trail?!

Halloween is fast approaching and we have just the thing to send a shiver down your spine! Five of our trails have been given a spooky makeover, with ghosts and ghouls galore. They are sure to be a scream but will you dare to take one on?!

From phantom paddlers to mythical beasts and murderous locals; who knows what you may spot on your journey?

Follow cursed waters as our trail descriptions warn you of gruesome encounters you may have along the way.

Spot the Tizzie Whizzie on Windermere; part hedgehog, part squirrel, part bumble bee, it is a rarely seen sight. Watch out for ghostly Viking long ships on the River Exe. Be accompanied over the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct by an eerie figure. Dodge the miserable executioner in Derby or spy Lord Byron's first love hiding between the trees in Nottingham.

These fang-tastic trails will make for a great club outing, family trip or day out with your friends.

Don your best Halloween fancy dress (don't forget to dress your boat up too!) and go on a spook-tacular journey into the underworld.

Whichever trail you choose to take on make sure you send us your pictures and let us know if you spot any of our fiendish friends!

There are over 120 canoe trails across the country. Find a trail near you by clicking here.
