British Canoeing has now completed the first stage in the process of developing a new Strategic Plan for the next four years (2017-2021). To launch the process, we sent out an electronic survey as widely as possible, to capture the views and opinions of as many different aspects of paddlesport as possible.
We received some great feedback and thanks to everyone who took the time to complete the survey. We have reviewed the responses we received and we have used this information to produce the first draft or our new Strategic Plan, which you can view below along with a summary of the responses and the complete data from the survey.
As part of the next stage of the process, we have scheduled a series of events at venues throughout England from May to July 2016, where the draft Strategic Plan will be presented and discussed.
Everyone is welcome to attend these sessions and we would love for as many people as possible to come along and discuss their views on the future of paddlesport. The sessions may be of particular interest to the following:
David Joy, the Chief Executive Officer of British Canoeing, will be in attendance at each session together with members of the Board and staff.
