Online Introduction to Paddle-Ability - 14th July @ 7pm and 28th July @ 7pm
Delivered by Marie Latham and Darryll Shaw, this 4 hour module is aimed at anyone who would like to develop their understanding of working with paddlers with a disability. Please note, this workshop is split into two 2 hour sessions and candidates need to attend both to complete the workshop.
Online Swimming Pools and Paddlesport - 22nd July 2020 @ 6pm
This module is aimed at paddlers who use or wish to make use of swimming pools for paddlesport sessions. It is also useful for pool manager and pool plant managers to help them understand the way in which they can work with paddlers. This is a 3 hour module delivered by Darryll Shaw.
Online Mentoring for Paddlesports - 23rd July 2020 @ 6pm
Delivered by Darryll Shaw, this module is aimed at Paddlers, Helms, Instructor, Coaches, Leaders and Guides currently using or wanting to develop their understanding of Mentoring. Becoming a mentor is challenging and rewarding in equal measures. This interaction will stimulate your own understanding of coaching, bringing professional activity and debate into the process.

PaddlePoints is a new, exciting digital mapping resource available through the Go Paddling website. By creating an account paddlers can create routes on rivers and canals, upload images and receive updates about new routes and points on their favourite waterways.
Situated on the British Canoeing Awarding Body website, the digital library provides a wealth of resources for coaches, leaders and provider within the paddle sport community, including research, blogs, podcasts, videos and e-learning.
Also on the Awarding Body website is the Coach Self-Analysis Tool, designed to assist coaches within paddle sport disciplines to make a self analysis of their current coaching and to consider opportunities for development.
The Clear Access Clear Waters website supports the campaign for fair, shared and sustainable open access on water for all.
Less than 4% of rivers across England and Wales are navigable without fear of confrontation and challenge.The Clear Access Clear Waters campaign is asking for clarity of rights over access for this generation and future generations to come.
That’s not too much to ask for, is it?
