British Canoeing membership covers you whether you use a canoe, kayak, sit on top or stand up paddleboard. 

Paddling is a great way to enjoy the freedom of the outdoors and stay socially distanced. To help paddlers we’ve produced some useful guidance to ensure safe paddling that is in line with Government guidance during this time.

Membership cards are being posted out, but we are experiencing some delays due to the volume being processed. All members will receive a PDF digital copy as proof of membership within an email directly after membership payment.

Craft Insurance: One product, one price.

We've recently worked with Towergate to review the insurance cover available to our members. We’ve created a straight forward product option that is a simple to add to your membership.

What’s included

  • Cover for up to two craft (canoes, paddleboards and kayaks) up to £2,000 each
  • Up to £250 cover for any one paddle
  • Theft cover where the canoe is suitably secured
  • Accidental damage excluding denting or bruising whilst in transit.

If you are seeking to renew, head over to the membership portal here. If you haven't used the portal yet, find your membership number, click the link above, click on What's My User Name and follow the instructions. If you have any problems, click the Need Help? button on the home page.
