4 Star Touring Leader

British Canoeing is removing the 4 Star Touring Leadership Award from the suite of qualifications; as it has a significant amount of cross-over/duplication with the new Paddlesport Leader Award. Candidates who have already undertaken their 4 Star Touring training have three years from the date of training to complete their assessment.

Expand Overview

Paddlers who have already achieved the 4 Star Touring Award will still be able to use it. It has a similar operating remit to the Paddlesport Leader but the 4 Star Touring Leader is able to work further away from the shore and in stronger wind conditions.

Paddlers who have already completed the 4 Star Touring training have up to three years from the date of training to complete their assessment and are required to register before they are able to attend the assessment.

Expand Registration
