Paddle in the Park is a weekend full of paddling activities for everyone.
There will be plenty on offer from white water workshops and fun competitions for paddlers to enter, to Lagoon Day Passes which allow you to 'have a go' at flat water activities.
Paddle in the Park at Holme Pierrepont in Nottingham has plenty to keep families entertained. And there are workshops for different levels of paddlers to progress their skills. The weekend promises thrills and spills to suit all ages and abilities.

The Lagoon Pass runs from 10am-5pm Saturday and 10am-4pm Sunday and covers all flat water activities, aimed at beginners, including stand-up paddleboarding, lazy tubing, kayaking, flat water raft racing and more.
The White Water Pass runs from 10am - 5.30pm Saturday and 10am - 3pm on Sunday and is for all competent paddlers (those who can roll and self-rescue) to access the white water course at reduced costs for the day. (You will need this pass to stay on the water before or after workshops).
White Water Workshops (13yrs+) offer a range of workshops delivered by expert coaches and top paddlers designed to help you improve your skills and try new things, including freestyle, white water, slalom and women only sessions.

Please note, to book on Paddle in the Park workshops you need to be 13 years or older. If you are under 16 you will need parental contact details.
The form has five pages. Skip the sections not relevant to you. Complete your details and choose your workshops. Once selected, other workshops at the same time will disappear from view to prevent double booking.

It will be based on the more gentle parts of the white water course and will include basic skills such as breaking in / breaking out, ferry gliding and surfing small waves. |Intro to OC1||Introduction to whitewater canoe - crossover to the dark side or step up from a traditional canoe - try out the demo fleet!||Need to have WW experience and be able to self rescue||Boats and paddles provided, all other equipment needed.||4|
|Women's Intro to White Water||A fun and friendly session for anyone who wants to take their flat water skills onto moving water. No previous moving water experience required but you need to have experience in a kayak on flat water.||You need to have some white water experience but roll not essential.||Yes, all equipment will be needed.||8|
|C1 Moving Water - Slalom||Develop your C1 skills with Mark Haylett from Holme Pierrepont Canoe Club, alongside some of their top performance paddlers.||Need to have WW experience and be able to self rescue.||Boat can be provided. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more info.||6|
|White Water Sit On Tops||Whitewater for All - on a new generation of sit-on-tops - picking lines, playing on the features - no need to roll!||Some paddling and some moving water experience||Boat and paddle provided, all other kit needed.||6|
|Women's Skills Clinic||Bring along absolutely anything you want to work on and we’ll help you! Whether it’s breaking in, surfing, rolling, looping, we’ve got you covered.||You need to have some white water experience but roll not essential.||All equipment needed.||8|
|K1 Moving Water - Slalom||Develop your K1 skills with Mark Haylett from Holme Pierrepont Canoe Club, alongside some of their top performance paddlers.||Need to have WW experience and be able to self rescue||Equipment needed. May be able to loan a boat, please email email@example.com|
|Flat Water Intro to Slalom||Here you will be working with experienced Slalom Coaches to build your foundation skills of slalom. Learn and develop your basic slalom strokes you need, both for downstream and upstream gates. Finish with some fun competitions and races to put your practice into action.||No white water experience needed. Paddling experience needed.||Better if you have your own equipment.
