This team manager’s toolkit is a resource developed to highlight some of the key processes required to organise safe and high quality competitions and/or training camps for athletes, volunteers and staff.
The resource will be added to and amended to reflect current best practice. We are always looking for suggestions and ideas to improve this toolkit so if team managers have any additional resources you’d be happy to share then please email [email protected]
The toolkit is divided up into 3 sections.
- Key responsibilities are outlined, including responsibilities of team managers, discipline committees and British Canoeing staff.
- Pre event procedures summarise the steps you should take prior to the trip.
- During and post event procedures summarise the key actions and templates required during a trip away and once you return.
