Performance Groups

The World Class Management Engagement Group strengthens the alignment between the strategic and operational plans of the British Canoeing Sprint and Slalom Committees and the plans  of the World Class Programme (WCP) and the England Talent Programme (ETP) which are managed by British Canoeing.  It provides a forum for the views of community volunteers, committees, clubs and coaches on matters related to talent and performance development to be shared with the members of WCPEG.

The Performance Well Being Group has been established to support the role of British Canoeing in its work to develop and deliver appropriate policies and practices around matters of athlete, staff and volunteer welfare within its performance and talent development programmes.

The Athlete Rep Group provides a forum for athletes to share their feedback on matters of interest and concern in relation to all aspects of the Performance programme. It provides athletes with a mechanism for ensuring their views on important matters are heard and communicated to the senior leadership team.
